Our staff is very knowledgeable on baby products and all things baby. If we don’t know the answer to your question, we will find out for you.
What kind of products?
We carry a huge assortment of products all relating to maternity, baby and children. Nursing bras, cloth diapers, diaper pails, baby carriers, teething items, toys, potties, bed rails and car seats.
How often do new items arrive?
We are constantly ordering and receiving new items in store.
If you don’t have something in stock can you order it in?
We do take orders on items on a case by case basis. Please inquire if you are looking for something particular you don’t see in stock.
How does consignment work?
Simply put: you bring us stuff, we sell it, you get paid. All items that do not meet our Consignment Standards will not be accepted. It is very important that you screen your items carefully before hand.
Please give us 5-10 minutes to sort your items. You can browse or shop in the store. We’ll call you by name when we’re finished and we’ll give you back the items we can’t take.
We retain the right to donate any itme of clothing to our worthy local charities if it is found to have flaws or stains after you leave the store
Items must be in “nearly new” condition, clean and folded…We cannot stress this enough and remember that sets need to be together.
An appointment must be made in advance to drop off ANY items. Each consignor is welcome to bring in a maximum of 40 items within a 60 day period and all 40 items must be dropped off one appointment. This includes clothes, toys, and gear. No exceptions. This ensures that we are able to process your items in a timely fashion. We also ask that you check with us before bringing large items (strollers, excersaucers, bassinets, highchairs etc) to ensure that we have space for them.
When your items sell, you will receive 40% of the final sale price. You can purchase from your account anytime, or be paid out. Balances of $50 or less will be paid out in cash at any time, balances of $50 or more will be paid via cheque, but you must notify us 24 hours in advance to pick up a cheque.
Please ensure that the specified conditions are met (including equipment and toys) as we do not have the facilities in our shop nor the time to clean your items.
The brands that we find sell the best are: Abercrombie, Adidas, Aeropostale, Arizona, Carters, Columbia, Ecko, Gap, Greendog, Gymboree, Joe, Kushies, Lands End, Levi’s, Mexx, Nautica, Nevada, North Face, Old Navy, Osh Kosh, Pekkle, Puma, Ralph Lauren, Reebok, Roots, The Children’s Place, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, and any currently popular characters.
Priority is given to brand name clothes. Please do not bring in generic brands like Teddy’s choice, bum, George, Ragscals, Kloz for Kids, Cherokee, or items that no longer have garment tags or garment tags that are unreadable.
WHAT WE DON’T ACCEPT
There are some items, which just don’t sell in our store – there is either very little demand for the item or we just don’t take them for safety or hygienic reasons.
